Vehicle Collision Verdict $25M For Paraplegic

A man that became paraplegic following a car collision was awarded twenty-five million dollars for his permanent injuries. Both drivers in the accident claimed they had green lights.

The attorney for the plaintiff stated that this may be the highest jury verdict in a lawsuit like this in Cook County.

At trial, it was shown that the plaintiff is permanently paraplegic and must use leg braces and a cane to walk. However, he spends most of his time in a wheelchair.
